Structural reinforcement

Structural reinforcement is in constant progression in the province of Québec. This technology consists of applying reinforced carbon fiber polymers (RCFP or fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP)) on weakened or deteriorated elements. This technology is both economical and practical when the existing structure is in need of modification or premature wearing of certain structures is present. Structural reinforcement using FRP simplifies the procedures and increases the structure's life span at a lesser cost. This method also produces less noise and dust and reduces the time that the structure will be out of service. Floor parkings, viaducts and concrete buildings benefit from this technology
